VENUE: The Castle Green Pavilion, Hereford
DATES: Autumn Half Terms AGE: 11-22 |
Livewire Central is a music development week which takes place once a year at the Castle Green Pavilion in Hereford, during Autumn half term.
During the Livewire Central week you will be immersed in music. You can choose to write original songs/tracks, develop your skills in a band setting, produce electronic music or learn rap and if you want to, you may end up doing a bit of everything! You will learn valuable rehearsal and performance techniques and we will make sure you are fully prepared for the Livewire gig at the end of the week. Our music leaders are all professional musicians with a vast amount of experience within the music industry and teaching workshops. The Castle Green Pavilion is situated on the Castle Green park, by the river, a perfect location to inspire creativity and nurture talent and Livewire Central is the highlight of our year, culminating in our best showcase gigs. People from all around the county and further afield come together to collaborate on some really interesting tracks. Cost Livewire Central costs £65 (just over £10 per day) However, if you can afford to pay more to attend Livewire Central we would be very happy to accept a higher donation! This project is heavily subsidised by charitable funding and the more money we raise through donations, the more activities and opportunities we can provide throughout the year. Bursary places If you can’t afford to attend Livewire Central please don’t be put off, all you need to do is to request an application for a bursary place so that you can attend for free. |
